PLAN FOR HOTEL OPERATION IN CORONA PERIODS
Check-in: as contactless as possible from 3:00 p.m. at the reception, plexiglass panels were installed at the reception to protect guests and employees
Check-out: by 11:00 at the latest
Distance rules: In the public areas of the hotel such as the restaurant, lobby, reception and on the corridors, the hotel staff must keep a distance of at least 1.5m to 2m from each other and from the guests. For example, tables in the restaurant are only cleaned when the guest is not at the table. Our guests are also asked to keep this minimum distance from other guests.
Mouth and nose protection: All personnel are obliged to wear mouth and nose protection.
Personnel planning: The hotel employees work in fixed teams to be able to reconstruct possible infection chains.
Restaurant: The capacities in the hotel restaurant are significantly reduced, but in return opening times for breakfast and dinner are extended. Tables are set up in such a way that guests at two adjacent tables have the opportunity to maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m. This limits the number of guests in the restaurant. We kindly ask you to reserve a table in advance. The number of places per hour is limited accordingly. If there is no table left at your preferred time, please register at a different time. Guests are served food and drinks wherever possible by employees. These wear protective masks.
The buffet has a sneeze guard protection and distance markings for guests. The food is only served by the hotel staff, who wear protective masks and gloves. The use of automatic serving machines (coffee, juice, etc.) is not possible this year. For this reason, these are only served by the hotel staff.
Swimming pool: As always, our pool is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with the official cleaning rules for bathing establishments.
Sun beds and chairs of two different parasols (and therefore two different families) must be at least 2m apart in each direction. After each use , the sun beds, chairs, tables and other items that the next guests could use are disinfected.
Disinfection: In addition, areas at the reception, tables, chairs, doorknobs, handrails, etc. are permanently disinfected by our staff. We also ensure constant, natural ventilation in the general interior.
Disinfection dispenser: Disinfection dispensers will be available at all central locations (e.g. at the pool, in the lobby, in the restaurant, etc.) so that guests and employees can disinfect their hands at all important contact points.
Housekeeping: Before the arrival of new guests, all rooms are cleaned with special cleaning agents, which also eliminate potential Covid 19 viruses.
In order to reduce the possible contact and thus possible infection of our employees with the Covid 19 virus, the Greek health office recommends cleaning the room, changing linen or towels only at the request of the guest.
Training by independent examiners: All of our employees have been trained at hygiene seminars. In order to guarantee a high level of security, we ran an extensive certification program together with the leading hygiene and security consulting company Tuev Austria Hellas and the Greek health authorities with the support of the medical university of Crete.
